Caitlin Washburn Concert

Caitlin Washburn is a singer-songwriter based in Durham, NC. After several years of performing around the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, and another several years of stepping back from the music scene, she has recently returned to performing with a focus on sharing her songs with church communities, with the hope of offering words and melodies for navigating the complexities of our lifelong journeys of discipleship. Her show Songs About the Rain is centered around songs written during a time of deep personal crisis and doubt, and explores the sometimes strange workings of God's faithfulness in the midst of our human struggles.

Caitlin is originally from North Texas, and has settled in North Carolina by way of Scotland, where she received a Master's in Theology, Imagination, and the Arts from the University of St. Andrews. She is now a student once again at Duke Divinity School and is an…
